Monday's Joey has baseball so I decided to make some fish (Joey hates all seafood). Christine from work gave me this recipe for salmon, I think it would also be great over chicken.
Pepper added by Joey - none since he didn't eat any of this dish
Ingredients
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon grated ginger
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Salmon filets
1. Whisk together soy sauce, garlic, ginger and honey in a bowl. Remove and set aside 1/4 cup of the mixture.
2. Place salmon in a shallow dish and pour marinade over top. Cover and chill for at least 5 minutes.
3. Heat sesame oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Remove fillets from marinade and cook, skin side up for 5 minutes.
4. Turn and drizzle with reserved marinade. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until the fish flakes.
